Department of the Army Certificate of Achievement awarded to Private First Class Colin H. King for meritorious achievement as a Combat Engineer while assigned to Bravo Company, 16th Engineer Battalion during the period of 27 February to 6 March 1993 during Marne Battle VIII at the Combat Maneuver Training Center. His devotion to duty and hard work impacted greatly upon the outcome of the TF 1-30 infantry’s battles fought against the OPFOR. His quick thinking and safety consciousness resulted in a safe rotation during very hazardous conditions. Private First Class King’s devotion to duty is in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Army, reflecting great credit upon himself, the 16th Engineer Battalion, and the 3rd Infantry Division.
